That of the larger breeds of dogs Greyhounds are one of the longest living and will live to be 13 or 14 years old so it's a crime that so many of us are killed at three or four years old just because we don't win races anymore. Notice I didn't say put to sleep because that's just a cop out - when your dead you don't wake up. Grrrrr..........
